An undergraduate student expresses his happiness and appreciation for a scholarship that significantly eases his worries about paying for school. 

Dear Donor,

It makes me wonderfully happy to receive this award! This scholarship covers over one-third of my total expenses and affords me a sense of safety and security in my situation. Just last week, I was worrying about balancing my time with work and school — but with this gift, I can rest a little more easily. It has not only made my day to receive this but also gives me a renewed sense of confidence and drive with regard to my studies. I promise to make the most of what this award affords me.
