Net Price Calculator

Welcome to SDSU’s net price calculator! This calculator provides an estimate of your

  • Total cost to attend SDSU for the 2025-26 academic year.
  • Financial aid eligibility.
  • Net cost (what you either need to borrow or pay out of pocket).

It is available for both undergraduate and graduate students and will ask you a few simple questions to generate the estimates.

Before starting the process, you should have the following information available to verify the amounts you enter:

  • Your federal income tax return and W-2(s) from the 2023 tax year.
  • If you are required to provide parent information on your aid application, your parent federal income tax return(s) and W-2(s) from the 2023 tax year.
  • The current amount of your and your parent(s)’ assets.

Note that completing SDSU’s net price calculator is not applying for financial aid or scholarships.  You must file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or a California Dream Act Application (CADAA) to actually apply for financial aid. (To file a CADAA application, you must be ineligible to file a FAFSA due to citizenship/eligible non-citizenship status and meet the requirements of AB 540.) You can apply for scholarships as a new admit or continuing student on Aztec Scholarships.

The financial aid estimate produced by the calculator is not an actual award, and estimated amounts may vary from actual awards due to differences in student/parent data and available funds.
