** The on campus food and housing figure is the cost of a double room and a Meals Plus meal plan. Exact costs will vary based on your room type and meal plan selection. For example, the cost of a triple room and Flex 5 meal plan is $20,365 for freshmen. The cost of a triple room and Flex 5 meal plan is $15,246 for upper division apartments. *** In addition to the above, out-of-state students admitted in Fall 2025 will also pay a Non Resident Campus fee of $1,500 per semester ($3,000 per academic year). **** Loan fees charged by the U.S. Department of Education are not included in the above standard cost of attendance. However, if you choose to borrow a 2025-2026 Federal Direct Loan, your cost of attendance will be adjusted. Per federal regulation, the amounts are based on the average federal student loan fee amounts for the previous academic year. Your actual loan fees will vary depending on the amount you borrow. Your cost of attendance will be increased by $68 if you borrow an undergraduate subsidized and/or unsubsidized federal Direct Loan and $1,140 if your parent borrows a federal Direct Parent PLUS Loan.

Please note: The California State University (CSU) makes every effort to keep student costs to a minimum. Fees listed in published schedules or student accounts may need to be increased when public funding is inadequate. Therefore, CSU must reserve the right, even after fees are initially charged or initial fee payments are made, to increase or modify any listed fees. All listed fees, other than mandatory systemwide fees, are subject to change without notice, until the date when instruction for a particular semester or quarter has begun. All CSU listed fees should be regarded as estimates that are subject to change upon approval by the Board of Trustees, the Chancellor, or the Presidents, as appropriate. Changes in mandatory systemwide fees will be made in accordance with the requirements of the Working Families Student Fee Transparency and Accountability Act (Sections 66028 - 66028.6 of the Education Code).
