About Family PACT
California Family PACT is a State of California limited benefits program with a focus on family planning. Family planning related reproductive health services are covered for cost, when the services are provided as part of, or a follow-up to, a family planning visit.
Family PACT is California’s innovative approach to provide comprehensive family planning services to eligible low income (under 200% federal poverty level) residents. Family PACT serves 1.1 million income eligible Californians of childbearing age through a network of 2,200 public and private providers. Services include comprehensive education, assistance, and services relating to family planning.
The overall goal of the Family PACT Program is to ensure that low-income women, men and teens have access to health information, counseling, and family planning services to reduce the likelihood of unintended pregnancy and to maintain optimal reproductive health.
