One-on-One Education:
Sexual Health
One-on-one sexual health topics include:
Contraception Methods
Make an appointment to ask any questions you may have about contraception methods
or birth control. Learn about the numerous contraception methods in detail and utilize
the knowledge of our Health Promotion Specialists to assist you in selecting a birth
control method that may fit with your lifestyle.
(Note: All medical decisions should be made with a physician or nurse).
Sexually Transmitted Infections
Come to talk about sexually transmitted infections with a Health Promotion Specialist. You can discuss risk factors, transmission processes, testing and treatment options, and learn about protective behaviors. You can also make an appointment to discuss a concern about STI exposure, or if you have received a STI diagnosis you can learn more about the infection.
HIV Pre-Test Education
If you are interested in getting tested for HIV, we strongly recommend you come in for an HIV Pre-Test education session. There are many tests for HIV, and specific post-exposure testing windows. Learn about the testing process, how to understand the test results, and how the virus works in the body.
