Talk It Out

Fall 2026

Talk it Out

Feeling stressed? Just needing to talk with someone? Talk It Out is a drop-in service providing informal and confidential consultation with our C&PS therapists at various locations across campus as well as virtually.

LEARN MORE

What is Talk It Out for?

The purpose of Talk It Out is to speak with a therapist for about 20 minutes about your concerns, get guidance and perspective, and learn about new tools and strategies to help. Maybe you're just wondering about therapy and what it's like--ask away! Talk It Out therapists can also guide you through the process of setting up an appointment at C&PS or discuss other resources both on and off campus. No appointment necessary! Just drop in virtually or in person during the designated hours below.

Is Talk It Out therapy?

Although Talk It Out therapists are professionals, it is not a substitute for therapy and does not constitute mental health treatment. Talk It Out is best used for occasional needs that come up during the semester. If you would like to meet with someone regularly, please call us at 619-594-5220 to ask about our therapy options.

Can I come to Talk It Out to get an assessment for a Letter of Support?

To allow sufficient time for the process, please call us at 619-594-5220 to request an appointment for a Letter of Support assessment rather than dropping in to Talk It Out.

Should I come to Talk It Out if I am experiencing a crisis or emergency?

If you have an urgent need or are in crisis, please instead call us at 619-594-5220 or walk in to Calpulli Center 4400.
