SIGN UP FOR A WORKSHOP

How Does It Work?

Everyday Mindfulness & Meditation is a three-session workshop designed to help students establish a foundation in mindfulness and meditation skills. It is appropriate for students who are interested in learning how to cope with stress more effectively, how to unhook from unhelpful thinking, and how to build their focus, concentration, and ability to be fully present in life. Regular mindfulness practice can help students to develop greater resilience, self-knowledge, and sense of well-being.

Students are asked to commit to attending the workshop once a week for three weeks, as the experiential aspects of mindfulness take some time to get rooted.

Sessions take place:

  • Tuesdays 4:00 - 5:30 p.m. or
  • Wednesdays 2:30 - 4:00 p.m.

A new round of workshops will begin every 3-4 weeks during the Fall and Spring semesters. The workshop is facilitated by a therapist, with an emphasis on learning and practice. Students will not be asked to disclose any more than what they are comfortable with.
