GETTING STARTED WITH MINDFULNESS & MEDITATION
Mindfulness is a way of learning to live more fully in the present. It is a way of becoming deeply aware and engaged in every moment of life by paying close attention to your experience, moment by moment, without judgment or struggle.
The practice of mindfulness is characterized by curiosity, openness, and compassion for self and others. It allows us to respond intentionally, skillfully, and wisely to difficult situations, rather than falling into patterns of automatic reaction and avoidance that often contribute to greater distress. Mindfulness also facilitates deeper appreciation and gratitude for what we value in our lives.
Mindfulness can be deceptively simple to understand, but its profound and transformative power really starts to happen when you practice and experience it for yourself!
