2024 Leadership Program
Welcome
On behalf of a team of dedicated professional and student staff, welcome to the 2024 SDSU Leadership Summit! This year’s conference theme is "Leadership in Motion," capturing the essence of progress and adaptability in leadership. Much like the fluid movements in motion, leadership evolves, embraces change, and navigates through diverse terrains. It's about steering through challenges, pivoting swiftly, and carving unique paths. Join us as we embrace the ever-shifting landscapes of challenges and opportunities. Together, let's uncover how to put leadership in motion.
We have a dynamic program planned for the day which will include insight from university leaders, performance arts, skill-building workshops, networking opportunities with peers and alumni, and words of wisdom from our keynote speakers. Stay tuned for more information on our keynote and featured speakers! Each will share important insights they learned throughout their leadership journey.
Enjoy what we hope will be a transformative experience.

Speakers and Presenters
Keynote Speaker: Amelia Brodka
Amelia is the first Polish Olympic Skateboarder, a two-time European Park Skateboarding Champion and a Commentator. While studying Communication and Narrative Studies at USC, she created award-winning documentary, Underexposed: A Women’s Skateboarding Documentary, which addressed the gender disparities within the sport. In 2012, she cofounded Exposure Skate, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering women, trans and nonbinary individuals through skateboarding and teaching compassion through service. Exposure not only serves as the world’s largest skateboarding event for non-traditional skateboarders but also holds year-round programming that teaches youth and adults alike to skate and give back to their communities.
Today, Amelia serves as the Executive Director for Exposure Skate, continues to skate professionally and works as an Analyst for events such as the X-Games and Uprising Tokyo. She has just accepted the position of Olympic Broadcast System’s Commentator for Skateboarding’s competitions at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
