SDSU Veterans Employee Resource Group
Mission:
The mission of the Veteran Employee Resource Group (VERG) is to foster a welcoming
and inclusive environment at SDSU for individuals who have a direct military and/or
veteran connection.
San Diego is known to many as a robust military community and San Diego State University
is recognized nationally as a top University supporting the military and veteran community.
The Veteran Employee Resource Group (VERG) serves as an opportunity to build networking
and strengthen camaraderie among those working at SDSU who currently serve or have
served in the nation's armed services. Membership is open to all SDSU employees, employed
by the State of California, SDSU Research Foundation, and Reserve Officer Training
Corps leadership cadres, who have a commitment to understanding the experiences of
the military and veteran community and a dedication to the mission, goals, and objectives
of the organization.
