First Generation ERG
Mission Statement:
The First Generation ERG supports and empowers staff and faculty who are the first in their families to attend college, along with their allies. We build community, share resources, and create space for connection, growth, and success.
Objectives & Goals:
The First Generation ERG’s main goals and objectives are as follows:
- Build a supportive community for first-generation members and their allies through organizing regular meetups, workshops, and social events to foster connection.
- Foster partnership with campus departments and external organizations to create new
opportunities for skill-building, networking, and career development.
