Jen Stanley
Executive Director of Development
Jen Stanley is an experienced fundraising leader with more than 20 years in the field, specializing in higher education advancement. With nearly a decade of focused fundraising work at both the University of California, San Diego and San Diego State University, she has developed a deep understanding of the interdisciplinary and co-curricular programs that support the educational and experiential success of students. She excels in fostering a culture of collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders, emphasizing the importance of relationship building, donor engagement, and delivering strong fundraising results.
Jen is passionate about cause-driven fundraising that enhances the co-curricular student experience. She works to build and strengthen relationships with parents, alumni, community members, corporate partners, and foundations through meaningful opportunities to connect, while advancing fundraising efforts for diversity, equity and inclusion. Jen has played a pivotal role in creating pathways for innovative approaches to DEI and student affairs initiatives, framing them as impactful opportunities for philanthropic support.
Jen holds a Bachelor of Arts from Sonoma State University and a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership in Student Affairs from San Diego State University.
