Internship description: To introduce Intern to City government, real estate and wireless communication agreements, in an office setting, while assisting the Department of Real Estate and Airport Management (DREAM). Duties will include clerical tasks such as research, filing, data entry, mailings, phone calls, proofreading, and drafting of letters/agreements. Learn the basic functions and structure of City government as implemented by the City of San Diego.  Learn the basics of real estate and property asset management as implemented by DREAM in the wireless portfolio.

Industrial Engineer Co-op/Intern

Description: Aid LOG team in the coordination of a global supply chain and global customer base. Interact within LOG team as it relates to production planning and scheduling. Execute Kanban software programs to calculate optimum lot size and number of Kanban cards required in the value stream. Writing / implementing standard work for production planning and scheduling tasks within LOG.  Visional aids in the LOG group (e.g., aid in production control projects). QA Vision Internship

Dolby Laboratories

Responsibilities :

  • Perform software development, create test setups/experiments related to video playback on Windows platform.

  • Design, develop and execute test cases targeted to test a variety of cutting-edge Dolby Imaging/Video algorithms and software.

  • Test and evaluate the Dolby Vision video processing technologies and new features

  • Provide feedback on specific features and record all bugs and issues encountered during testing.

Qualifications :

Assistant Athletic Trainer

Description: Under general supervision, assist in the coordination and implementation of a comprehensive sports medicine program for college intercollegiate sports; perform professional and administrative activities in service to student athletes; and perform related duties as  assigned.Assistant Athletic Trainer is distinguished from Athletic Trainer in that an incumbent in the former class is the professional entry-level classification, requiring less experience than the latter class.

Responsibilities :

  • Assist in carrying out the sports medicine program for the college,

NIWC - Undergraduate II (Junior/Senior) - Student Technical and Analytical Support

Description: The C2P Mod Integrated Product Team (IPT) is responsible for development of the C2P Mod system that supports tactical message routing for execution of Ballistic Missile Defense and Anti-Air Warfare missions aboard Navy ships and limited shore sites around the world. C2P Mod will primarily be developed in C++ programming language over a 4-year period of time partitioned in 5 increments where each segment of the code will go through extensive test and verification by a separate, and independent team. The current plan is to use cloud technologies as a basis for a test-driven development methodology, whereby software developers will create unit, or software component tests prior to submission into the build pipeline, that will then launch a series of automated code quality checks as well as any test scripts written to validate functionality for the component and/or system.

Responsibilities :

  • Investigation, analysis, and evaluation of technology to include, open source software, vendor products, academia, industry research, and Government software and systems.

  • Installing and integrating software applications and hardware components. Resolving workstation hardware and software challenges.

  • Performing software cycle support to include requirements, design, development, integration, testing, deployment, and documentation.

  • Producing reports on industry trends to include software and systems methodologies, security systems, and future technologies.

  • Conducting software testing via manual and automated methods.

  • Assisting in reviewing and documenting engineering best practices.

  • Submit Monthly Status Reports and Bi-Weekly Time Reports in accordance with the base contract.
    Minimum Qualifications

The Financial Management Career Program (FMCP) recruits talented individuals at the entry-level (Trainee) and mid-level (Associate) for civil service positions. Financial Management Associate Program (FMAP)
The Financial Management Associate Program (FMAP) is a 24-month program for mid-level financial management personnel referred to as "Associates." To qualify for this program, you must have earned a qualifying master's degree. Recent college graduates who satisfy the FMAP criteria are hired by the FMCP as DON mid-level (GS-9/11/12) financial management analysts, accountants, and auditors (job series 501, 510, and 511 respectively). Associates are officially assigned to the FMCP but are stationed at various Navy and Marine Corps activities, referred to as "Homeports." Following successful completion of their 24-month program, Associates graduate from the program and are placed in suitable positions at their Homeports.

Additional Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship, ability to obtain a Security Clearance, and a Mobility Agreement

  • Possess finance, accounting, management, or actuarial science degree, or other related degree from an accredited college or university
