- Our student videographers help storyboard, shoot and edit short videos for social media, websites and events, as well as shoot and produce longer videos for events, websites and, occasionally, instructional purposes.
- Our videographers also edit videos submitted by our partners around the university and crew for each other as needed.

Treobytes Facilitator positions are part of the “Treo” providing a consistent presence in the experience of each Treobytes camp participant.
Overview
Facilitator for Treobytes Summer Camp at Mesa College
Dates:
- Early May to June for training.
- Camp 6/16/25 - 7/25/25 Monday to Friday, between 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
Locations:
- San Diego Mesa Community College
- Treobytes HQ/ Barrio Logan (Training)
Courses:
You could teach one of the following, no previous experience necessary.
- Robotics with DJI
- Engineering with Cardboard projects
- STEM Sports / Music Technology
- Arduino Projects and Python
- Game Development
- Urban Development / Infento Bikes

DESCRIPTION
A Treobytes Facilitator will have an outgoing personality, classroom management skills,
an eagerness to learn, a positive attitude, and a dedication to helping kids develop
STEM skills
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conducts educational programs at school sites with large groups of students
- Provide and promote a safe and nurturing environment that’s conducive to learning the Treobytes curriculum
- Teach STEM enrichment activities to students in grades K-5 or 6-8
- Assist students with detailed oriented projects and activities
- Prepare for each instructional session; organize materials as appropriate in coordination
with
operations - Work cooperatively and collaboratively with co-workers/teammates
- Prepare for programs and classes
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:
- The ideal candidate for this job will have an outgoing personality, classroom management skills, an eagerness to learn, a positive attitude, and a dedication to helping kids develop STEM skills
- We are looking for a person with an excellent work ethic, is self-motivated, reliable, and extremely detail oriented to ensure the quality of our in-school and after-school educational programs
- Ability to learn and teach new concepts in technology or science
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members, and senior management (Slack, email and text messaging)
- Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Knowledge of the industry or field relevant to the assigned responsibilities.
- Flexibility and adaptability to navigate changing priorities and requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in progress in a related field.
- No experience required to apply: We train teachers, college students and content area experts on technology and instruction: You provide the desire to work with children using technology and creativity!
WORK HOURS
Part Time and Full Time Options
ONBOARDING AND TRAINING:
Employees will be required to complete regular training (online/in person) as it applies
to the position. This also applies to the onboarding process.
TB testing required
COMPENSATION AND PERKS
Pay: $20-22 per hour; Gain Valuable Experience: Build your resume while having a ton

- Some lifting and carrying up to 60 lbs.
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate office equipment, reaching overhead, above the shoulders and horizontally, bending and twisting at the waist, seeing to review and analyze reports and documents

- May be exposed to outdoor elements including noise and weather
- Occasional cleaning (vacuuming, wiping down equipment, etc.)
