Divisional Management Initiatives

Support divisionally managed initiatives as well as student affairs departments in Imperial Valley, testing services, and Tribal Affairs.

 

Edgar Hodge, Ed.D. 
Assistant Vice President for Divisional Management Initiatives

Dr. Edgar Hodge, serves as Assistant Vice President (AVP) for Student Affairs and Campus Diversity at San Diego State University (SDSU). In this role, Dr. Hodge does Divisional Management and oversees special projects at the direction of the Vice President and Senior Associate Vice President.  In addition, at the direction of the Senior Associate Vice President, Dr. Hodge participates in leading divisional operations initiatives. Plus, Dr. Hodge is responsible for the following: Oversight of Student Affairs and Campus Diversity activities at SDSU Imperial Valley Campus, the building support provided to Student Health Services, Testing Services, Tribal Liaison, IT Liaison, and Faculty Scholars. Dr. Hodge has 25+ years of Executive Leadership experience in Higher Education supporting Students, Faculty, and Staff.   Other universities that Dr. Hodge have worked for are University of California San Diego, University of Arizona, and University of Phoenix.
