Employee Resource Groups
Employee Resource Groups (ERG’s) are designed to build an inclusive environment for SDSU employees from various employment groups, with particular attention to employees from historically underrepresented and underserved backgrounds. ERG’s are established and operated by employees with modest support from the Division of Student Affairs and Campus Diversity.
**To begin the process of establishing or reaffirming an ERG, please complete the New ERG application or ERG Reaffirmation form by May 15 (applications open on April 1).**

The Joyful Resistance
This group is dedicated to the practice of joy. Through light, social, and self-care-focused
gatherings—like picnics and creativity sessions—we create space to connect, laugh,
and breathe. Our purpose is simple and powerful: to center joy in our workplace lives.
The Parenting and Caregiving ERG aims to cultivate community and a safe space to discuss lived experiences and to support each other as they navigate successes and challenges while maintaining a career in academia.
