Expedited Border Crossing for Students

SDSU students can apply to an expedited pedestrian lane that aims to reduce wait times when returning to the U.S. from Mexico at three U.S.-Mexico ports of entry.
Students must request a code from SDSU, then apply for the Coordinated Access Program (intended only for education-related travel) through the CBP Link app (via Apple App and Google Play).

Financial Aid Awarding!

New students who filed the 2026-27 FAFSA or California Dream Act Application can view their Financial Aid awards in my.SDSU. Continuing students will see their Financial Aid awards mid-June after spring 2026 grades are finalized. Check my.SDSU for pending documents on your “to-do” list and submit as soon as possible.

Aztec Scholarships Webinar

The general application for Aztec Scholarships is open through Sept. 4 for awards in the 2026-27 academic year. New students must first submit their intent to enroll to gain access to Aztec Scholarships. Mark your calendars for our next “Everything You Need to Know About Aztec Scholarships” webinar at 5 p.m. July 8 (Zoom ID: 853 7250 0310).

The interest form for the VCIC Program is now open! Info Sessions begin in the summer with weekly meetings beginning in the fall. Benefits of participation include the opportunity to compete in a “live” SharkTank like competition, and to network with founders and VC investors.

Lavin Entrepreneur Program Application is Open. Due June 15

Apply to the 2026-27 Lavin Entrepreneur Program, a free one-year program of extracurricular weekly meetings, 1:1 mentors, field trips and networking! You just need an interest in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. It is open to all SDSU students and majors. Applications are due June 15.

AI Discussion Group May 6

Join us for a casual, monthly meetup to discuss current topics and ideas in artificial intelligence with peers and community leaders, including Neal Bloom and Andy White. This month’s meeting is 9-10:15 a.m. May 6 in EIS 103 and is open to anyone in the SDSU community interested in AI.
