Please join us for our Grant Writing Support professional development workshops.

The NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) is to help ensure the vitality and diversity of the scientific and engineering workforce of the United States. The program recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students who are pursuing research-based master's and doctoral degrees in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) and in STEM education. The GRFP provides three years of support for the graduate education of individuals who have demonstrated their potential for significant research achievements in STEM and STEM education.

The Grants Research and Enterprise Writing (GREW) for Postdocs teaches how to communicate effectively with grant officers, develop successful proposals and share their research with media and other stakeholders. This is a pilot program adapted from the original GREW program, which targets faculty. 

- How to write effective funding requests
- How to communicate and pitch themselves to a variety of audiences
- How to research funding opportunities
- How to build relationships with collaborators and influential program officers
- How to work with the media.

Participants are asked to attend all four weekly 3-hour sessions.
Space is limited.  If interest exceeds our space limit, then we will offer the workshop in the Spring semester.
