HSI Programs
Below are a few highlights of the HSI-related programs at San Diego State University.
Caminos al Éxito Program
The Office of HSI Affairs has been awarded the Aztec Parent Fund grant to implement Caminos al Éxito for the
2024-2025 academic year.
The program aims to enhance retention, graduation and career placement rates among
students in STEM and health care through culturally affirming components, family support,
community partnerships, skills and knowledge programming, and alumni connections,
especially among the Hispanic, first-gen and commuter populations.
We invite incoming freshmen and transfer students to join by completing the Caminos al Éxito: Intake Form. For questions, contact Wendy Mejia at [email protected] or Abdel Amador at [email protected]
