You Can Still Enroll for Winter Session
Winter Session classes are a great opportunity to make up ground toward graduation
or explore a new area of interest.
Classes run from Dec. 15, 2022, to Jan. 12, 2023, and are offered fully online in

TIME TO REGISTER FOR SPRING SEMESTER, FILL OUT THE 2023-24 FAFSA
Registration for the spring term is underway; log into my.SDSU to clear any charges or pending to-do items under your “tasks” tile prior to registering.
Within a day or two after you register for spring, you will see your charges on my.SDSU (under the “financial account” tile). Financial aid and scholarship disbursements
begin the week of Jan. 9, and spring tuition and fees are due Jan. 11.
The 2023-24 FAFSA application is now open. Reapply for financial aid by completing
the FAFSA or Dream Application. Some aid programs are awarded based on available funding, so be sure to apply early.

‘LOVE’S LABOR'S LOST’ — SHAKESPEARE WITH A TWIST
Get your tickets for this SDSU Theatre production of a Shakespearean classic, a light
romp set in a romanticized version of the late 1960s and early 1970s. SDSU’s production
will reference gender and racial politics of the counterculture and include a soundtrack
inspired by Motown, soul, folk and psychedelic rock.
The play runs Dec. 2-11 at the SDSU Mainstage Theatre: $20 for general admission and
$17 for students and seniors. Tickets are selling fast, so get yours today.
One SDSU Community will host a panel discussion in connection with the play on Zoom
at 10 a.m. Dec. 5 to explore racial divisions and social activism in contemporary
American culture. Register for the panel discussion to participate.
Refugee Experience is Lecture Focus
The APIDA Center and Phi Beta Delta International Honor Society will host a lecture
on Dec. 7 to help students learn more about the refugee experience.
The Zoom Lecture, which begins at 1:30 p.m., will feature Dr. Yen Le Espiritu, an ethnic studies professor
at UCSD. Espiritu is the co-author of Departures: An Introduction to Critical Refugee Studies.
Take the California Government Exam at Testing Services
The California Government Exam is offered monthly through SDSU Testing Services. By
taking and successfully passing it, you can save time and money and satisfy a key
graduation requirement.

New EV Charging Rates Take Effect Dec. 1
Rates for all electric vehicle charging on campus will increase to 26 cents per kWh
as a result of SDSU’s new partnership with a private company, Carbon Solutions Group,
to maintain the existing campus Level 2 chargers, expand the number of Level 2 chargers
and to add fast Chargers — at no cost to SDSU.

GREENFEST BATTLE OF THE BANDS COMING DEC. 8!
Come support fellow student performers as they battle it out for a chance to be the
opening act at the GreenFest Concert 2023. The GreenFest Battle of the Bands is 5
to 7 p.m., Dec. 8 at Montezuma Hall.
GreenFest, SDSU’s signature environmental event, is held every spring and features

Networked Narrative Abstracts Wanted
The English and Comparative Literature Department will be hosting the Networked Narratives
conference next spring and invites all SDSU students to submit abstracts to present
at our conference. Abstracts are due Dec. 23.

The panel discussion and breakout sessions take place from 2 to 4:30 p.m. on the third
floor of the Geology, Math and Computer Science Building.
