July/August 2024 @STATE
San Diego Pride 2024 is here!
National Pride Month may be over, but San Diego State is just getting started with its celebration of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community!
SDSU continues the festivities in July with a week of events, including the Pride Flag Raising Ceremony, Rainbow Picnic, Pride-themed classes at Aztec Recreation Center, the Pride Week Clothing Swap and participation in the San Diego Pride Parade.
The flag ceremony takes place July 17 from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at the North Grand Entry of the Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union. Join SDSU and The Pride Center for the event that serves as a prelude to the San Diego Pride Parade. The ceremony will include remarks from campus leaders and light refreshments.
Also, join us July 20 and be a part of SDSU’s Pride Parade contingent. The parade begins at the Hillcrest Pride Flag at University Avenue and Normal Street. Sign up to participate with other members of the SDSU community or to volunteer!
For more information about all of the Pride Month events, email the Pride Center at [email protected] or visit the Pride Center website.
